Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using arcx.run ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

arcx.run provides cloud-based development environments ("workspaces") with integrated AI agents, Docker containers, and collaboration tools. The Service is operated by Outlaw Research Labs.

3. Accounts

You must authenticate via GitHub to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your workspace access credentials with unauthorized parties.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' workspaces
• Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency
• Distribute malware or engage in attacks against other systems
• Exceed reasonable resource usage limits
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Your Code and Data

You retain full ownership of all code and data you create or store in your workspace. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Workspaces are ephemeral by design. While we make best efforts to preserve your data, you are responsible for pushing your code to external repositories.

6. AI Processing

AI agent requests may be processed by third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, or local Ollama models depending on your configuration). All requests pass through our secret-scrubbing proxy, which redacts detected credentials before they leave your infrastructure.

We do not train AI models on your code or workspace data.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. During the private beta period, features and pricing may change.

8. Pricing and Payment

Free tier usage is available at no cost. Paid plans are billed monthly. During private beta, all features are free. We will provide at least 30 days notice before charging for previously free features.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your workspace data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, arcx.run and Outlaw Research Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
